Romans Chapter 9-11

Sunday mornings we will take up where Pastor Matt left on Wednesday night in Romans chapter 8, with chapters 9 through 11. In this study we will seek to answer the question: What about Israel Paul? If what you said about the gospel is true, why aren't the Jews flocking to Christ? I think some of us might be surprised by his answer.

About The Lion, the, Witch, and the Wardrobe (LWW)
The master of imaginative enchantment, C.S. Lewis, has created a unique world and he invites children and adults to walk into it and enjoy both surprise and adventure. An old house in rural England becomes the home base for four children who wander into an incredible country through an old wardrobe and help the country return to summer. In the incredible Narnia, they make friends with the frightened forest people who have almost given up hope for the return of good King Aslan, their true ruler. When Aslan was there, it was always summer. There is a great battle to see whether this magical country will remain under a wintry spell or will, once again, know freedom and summer under good King Aslan. A charming show about courage and the love of freedom.

We are now accepting applications for our Adult and Family Mission Level One project to Camp Sonlight. This one-weekend mission trip  (May 16th-18th) will consist of activities that will center around work projects, fellowship, worship and evangelism. You may download an application form here.

This mission trip to Camp Sonlight has a number of objectives and requires a team composed of people with a variety of skills in order to achieve the objectives. Team members will be needed in the areas of light construction, landscaping and maintenance as well as in the areas of food preparation and worship leadership. On this weekend we will be focusing our hearts on selflessly serving another ministry that is devoted to helping the Christian community.   This experience will include low-intensity physical labor, Bible-study, personal reflection and corporate worship.

All participants must attend a three hour training seminar on Sunday May 4th at 2pm. The total cost for this mission including food is $50 per person, there is no charge for children. (All children must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian)

Please pray about how God may use you in this "Level One" Adult and Family Mission!

Contact Cathy or Clyde Canfield if you have any questions concerning this trip.
